The first thing I would like to say is, forgive the site facilities. This site is BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL !! We would recomend this site in a heartbeat, and can't wait to return ! The welcome you will recive is second to none. we have travelled the length and breadth of our great country, but have never had such a warm sincere, and friendly welcome. This is a small working farm, with the added pretty new CL site with a work in progress. If you are harden campers like us... The fact that- as yet- there are no shower blocks, or toilets... therefor to be self sufficient is a bonus here. However... The hospitality of these kind freindly farmers is wonderful. We even recived complimentary fresh ( and I mean fresh ) farm eggs, once on our arival, and again as a departing gift. Please please please, give this site a try. There's a reason hoards of people stop there cars. lorries, taxi's, and bikes, ( cycle's, and moterbikes ), not to mention rambler's, and courting couple's. The view, I swear is the envy of all other farm's, and property owner's in the surounding area. This site, view, and welcome will stay with us always. It truely is a site to behold. Give them a chance... These farmers deserve the great future they are working hard to achive. And you all deserve to see, and feel what we have all just experienced. Also, not only did my husband and I stay in our caravan, Our Son- and his girlfriend pitched their tent at the side of us. So here are different generations enjoying, and in full agreement of all of which we recived... That being, the unique genuine feeling of goodwill... And thee most beautiful place on earth.! Seeing is believing !!!

as said in previous review very minimal facilities but very friendly and welcoming. Bought their (home reared) sausages and given fresh eggs and their own bread out of freezer for nothing!!One porto loo in next field, shower in camping field in a porto cabin ! Luckily we were in campervan so had our own facilities. Hence i think it best you are in camper or caravan or really dont mind true basics if in tent.The view is spectacular, with coaches and people stopping to take photos, even walking right thro site ignoring the fact it is private land. The owners if present would put them in their place and told us to do the same! I think they need a big sign that states trespasses will be prosecuted because it is a bit un nerving when u are relaxing and total strangers walk past ignoring u to take a picture! The germans even took picturs of our dogs!!We thought at first £14 was heftey, but it does inc electricity. It is sited exactly between st ives and penzance. just 4 miles either way, so if u want a wonderful view, minimal facillities and friendly company this is the site.We shall deffo return !

Other reviews make much of lack of facilities but this is a CS. Having said that there was a porta shower which we used and a chemical loo in the next field which we didn't which are not actually mentioned in the site description. The owners are exceptionally friendly and brought us their own fresh eggs. The Field is sloping but the hardstandings try to level the pitches but are a bit messy. The view over St Michaels Mount is breathtaking but does make the site a little isolated and liable to be exposed. One criticism, the grass was too long.
